Caring for the environment is not only the right thing to do, it's in sync with our goal of contributing to the health and wellbeing of people everywhere. On Earth Day 2008, we formally committed ourselves to a systematic and centralized approach to reducing our impact on the environment whenever practical. The Company's Director, Environmental, Health & Safety has primary responsibility for the Company's environmental program. We call it GreenQuest.
Across our activities, we engage with the full range of stakeholders to gain their feedback regarding our business. We regularly receive input from patients and customers regarding our services and how to improve them via our website and social media channels. Our Investors participate in ongoing dialogue with us regarding their concerns and suggestions in relation to our company. We instituted a Supplier Business Engagement Model, to enhance our dialogue with our suppliers. Our annual employee survey encourages healthy feedback and conversations with our employees. We participate in meetings and task forces as members of the CEO Roundtable on Cancer, the American Clinical Laboratory Association, College of American Pathologists, National Business Group on Health and other industry organizations. Further, we engage with a number of nongovernmental organizations, including the Carbon Disclosure Project, Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy and the Human Rights Campaign. We also engage with elected government officials and regulators in regular dialogue regarding health care policy and other matters that may impact our Company and the patients that we serve and to understand how we can best contribute with our capabilities.
