Our trophy display case sure is getting crowded. In the past week I’m proud to report that Quest Diagnostics received some more noteworthy recognition. The company was recently recognized as one of America’s Best Large Employers in 2017 by Forbes magazine and as one of DiversityInc’s Noteworthy Companies. Earlier this year we’ve been recognized as a “World’s Most Admired Company” by Fortune Magazine and were listed in Newsweek’s list of “Top Green Companies.”Forbes listed Quest as one of the best employers in America among the top 500 large employers, with over 5,000 employees. Quest is one of only 18 companies in the “
Health Care Equipment & Services” category to make the list. Forbes worked with research firm Statista to compile its list of via an anonymous online survey of 30,000 American workers. Respondents noted how likely they were to recommend their organization to friends or family and to identify other companies outside of their own to recommend.
We also are excited to be chosen as one of DiversityInc’s
Noteworthy Companies for 2017. Companies are judged on their talent pipeline, talent development, leadership accountability, and supplier diversity. Data collected by DiversityInc showed that Quest has the potential to make the annual Top 50 list, which is the leading assessment of diversity management in corporate America and globally. This year, there were 18,000 companies who participated in DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity. At the heart of our business, we seek to empower and inspire people to live healthier lives. As we strive to become the highest performing and most admired diagnostic information services company in the country, we are harnessing the collective power of our diverse team to create an inspiring and inclusive workplace.
As we celebrate our 50
th anniversary of delivering life-changing results, we are honored to receive these two important distinctions, which are tribute to our 43,000 dedicated employees.
