Quest Diagnostics of Puerto Rico offers home draw services for patients with a physical or mental condition limiting such patient’s ability to transport to and visit a clinical lab.

This is not a service of convenience or a STAT service. This offering is limited by regulation of Department of Health, Puerto Rico, some restrictions applied. The patient or his or her legal guardian must certify in writing as to the applicable physical or mental condition that prevents the patient from traveling to the lab.

Patients who provide incorrect information such that they are not qualified for a home draw will be held financially responsible for the collection, including travel costs.

Patients who qualify generally will be called the day prior to the scheduled draw to verify the contact information and the time of the phlebotomist’s visit.
