The Quest Diagnostics Foundation, established in 1991, is a nonprofit corporation exempt from tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Its purposes include:    

  • Promoting the benefits of healthcare and wellness;  
  • Driving the prevention, early detection, monitoring and treatment of disease; and  
  • Educating the general public and healthcare professionals regarding healthcare issues. 

The Quest Diagnostics Foundation grantmaking focuses on reducing health disparities in communities across the U.S. Launched in 2020, grant programming initially provided critical resources in communities hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. Through 2024, the Foundation has invested $44 million to improve community health, and in partnership with Quest Diagnostics, provided countless communities with access to no-cost diagnostic testing. Today, the Foundation primarily focuses on helping by joining forces with community stakeholders best positioned to respond to community health needs.
